A fun character design and illustration commission for an online trucking game community. Featuring some my favorite character designs I've done to date. I could draw this kind of stuff all day. The characters and truck can work seperately or with the type design.

Padre's Porch Gaming: Truck and Farm Simulator - Logo Design

Recent logo illustration and design for Padre's Porch Gaming, representing Trucking Simulator and Farm Simulator game streams. I illustrated his preferred truck and tractor he uses in his games, combining them with type to create a strong all-encompassing branding. The final graphic works well on t-shirts, mugs, stream scene transitions, profile pictures and just about anything he can slap it on.

I provided several variations of final files, including the type and wording by itself, as well as a version using the border shape with just the truck and tractor. It’s important to me to provide unified as well as separate assets the client can use on anything they might want.

Sketched and finished in black and white using Inkscape with a Wacom Intuos Pro, and colors and finishes completed in ClipStudioPaint. The client received the hires black and white version, the full color version, as well as assets for use on merch, stream and more.

This addition to the EWG.com portfolio features a feisty, gun toting, berry character and a western feel. I wanted to create something that could be on the title screen of an arcade game. Alternate arrangements show a normal matching 'o' and have the berry to the side or above. But this is my favorite arrangement combining the mascot and title in one logo.

Finished monogram design for Trayde - who won the April Kofi Giveaway! We had already done some sketches on  Drawing Request Show on Twitch for a quick request. Then, when he won the Kofi Giveaway - he opted to get the one he chose from the batch of ideas, all cleaned up for use. Yada yada yada, here's the clean finished version. I particularly love the symmetry of the two vertical lines. The left angle of the Y is exactly the same as the right angle on the R. But I love how the right leg of the R intersects and blocks it going all the way down to the middle. Trayde had the idea for the letter shapes to be inset in a circle, and I love that. Good choice. It was sent in a couple different color styles as per Traydes request. All in all I really enjoy working on the design side of my brain on stuff like this. Good stuff!

The one bird is different, of the three shown. The one eye and border circle match. And the title words nestle and merge in fun and flowing ways, with some play on negative space to keep it readable as well.

This addition to the EWG.com portfolio was done entirely on Drawing Request Show stream. Sometimes, within a 15 minute request, I'm able to knock out a pretty solid - clean solution. This was one such case. They dug the musical whimiscle vibe, and ran with it the way it is. I included a color version along with the black and white version. Sometimes it takes many variations and design play othertimes it hits the mark the first time.

New year, new possibilities, new drawings to be had! 

Introducing the new logo/ look for Eryck Webb Graphics in 2021! Being self employed allows me to enjoy many different things. From graphic design, to video editing to creating branding for others to growing my skills and exploring my own inspirations as an artist. But the number one thing I'm known for, is my drawing. I wanted to jump into this new year, with a logo focused on my drawing. The drawing is where any other aspect of what I do for a living starts. Whether it be concept sketches, thumbnails or a quick mapping out of a plan. What better way then a mostly hand drawn logo, in Inkscape with my trusty Wacom Intuos Pro. Thats how I've drawn requests and commissions for folks every week for the last 11 years after all! I used my handwriting to create the 'ink brush style' type for 'eryck webb'. The word 'graphics' uses a uniform font that I've used in my branding for years. I like how the font and the hand written type play off each other. The hat now has a stylus in the middle of the white stripes to emphasize my digital drawing. The hat and the ink stroke swoosh are drawn mostly freehand as well! 

I look forward to seeing the CRew and all of yew soon, for some Drawing Request Show action. The stream will return 10am Eastern Time starting January 4th, for some drawing action! Mon, Wed and Fri come out, put down a $1 to $15 USD donation for equal minute 1 character sketch in return! As always, get your request faster by attaching a $15 INSTA token, a $30 ULTRA token or a $45 QUANTUM token to any minute-amount request. Bucket Mouth League Fly Fishers

Wrapping up this busy week with a final post, of this finished graphic for Frankenfly.com. A new graphic promoting the Bucket Mouth League Fly Fishers - a group of fly fishing for big mouth bass. I started off in the design phase going in the direction of a normal bass jumping out of the water and had the notion to do a stylized 'badass' one as well. Well that one was a hit and so made it happen. It definitely goes more along with the Frankenfly style, just look at the mascot/logo and the 'bearded biscuit' shirt design. For fun I even made the fly in the graphic look like the bearded biscuit.

Thats it for this week, it was a hard one in many ways but a productive one in a lot of other ways.
