Happy to let kickstarters and other followers keeping tabs on the TnC Year 1 book project that 8 strips are completely done (short of final lettering edits) and tomorrow I start on the next 8. But for now, I get some well deserved sleep! (Falls asleep at desk with wacom pen in hand).

These are all amazing, some of Cory's best strips ever, and makes them even more awesome to draw and the final results are just amazing. Its hard not to be a fan and I'm the one drawing the stuff. All gold here. Solid gold. You folks will love em. Post another progress update soon. Goodnight!

Graphics Patrol - State Of The Union

Good morning! 

Back on patrol for a week of graphic artings. As stated last week there is a major job crunch between now and Thanksgiving, so I'm moving everything I can to after December 1st. I'm leaving with the wife to have Thanksgiving out of town the Wednesday before, so I have till then to get a very large job done to meet certain time sensitive/ financialy sensitive requirements for the project. There is no way to avoid it and I aim to get it done and help the client get it taken care of in the time they need it. To do this, there will be a push back. Only about 5 items are still scheduled to be worked on aside from this. UTMNT webcomic since its a weekly ongoing, Transformers gig to stay on schedule, a SHAZAM commission, and get prelim sketch proofs out for 3 new commissions, which will be finished after December 1st. 

Will be a feverish 9 days ahead but as long as I stay on my planned out schedule it will get done, and as of December 1st everyone will be taken care of.

Thank you for understanding and wish me luck on this project! Have a great week - and if I have ANY time at all to squeeze in, maybe start an hour earlier each morning, I will have a new TMNTurkeys piece this year. A publication I was developing to celebrate the 5th year anniversary of EWG will be shelved and I will come up with something simpler due to no time to work on it.

Perhaps the publication will be released after the new year instead. Who knows.

Alright, time to knuckle down and get to it. Working them fingers to the bone.

Do The EWG Shuffle

A quick post to folks who may not have specificaly got an email, or to supplement the email that was sent to all clients with jobs currently in the queue. All is good in the personal life and all that, but a major crunch of must completes before turkey day has ensued and some unavoidable push backs are in effect. Most folks will be moved to be worked on once again after December 1st, but some will be less effected. Thank you for all client's patience, nothing is dropped through the cracks, but in order to get some stuff done by Thanksgiving, others will have to be moved. If this absolutely does not work for you, email me and I will try to work something out, otherwise I really appreciate the flexibility in this situation. Most folks will get a pencil proof between now and then, and a very crucial few will be the focus due to their impending time-sensitivity. If your not needing something done by end of the month and can stand to have it first half of december you are being moved. Only have less than a week and a half to get a major job out and need all the time I can devote to it.
Again, I've allotted room for some other crucial must dos, but space will be limited till after the 1st.

EWG Updates 11.10.14

This is a quick website/business update post

1. Setup a November/Thanksgiving theme wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving, on the EWG main site, facebook and deviantart.

2. Got a new EWG website-based Livestream page relaunched featuring a site-dedicated IRC chat and seemless integration of a Picarto-supplied video window. Will be interested to see how viewers like this new setup. Theres on login necessary, just pick a nickname and enter the chat and watch the stream. Hoping it draws more interest and viewers to my Thursday Night and other livestreamed events.

3. October Sale Orders have been completed for everyone except for a client who understands they ordered a lot more than I could get done by the 6th, so I am going to get them out this week, and then hopefully be able to offer up slots again come next week or so!

4. Monday has been a 'business day' where I worked on inhouse stuff got this and that straightened out and did things I was always putting off to get client work done, but will hit the ground running on must-completes for webcomic jobs this week and other sorts. Got lots to do and time to get cranking.

5. Hope folks are enjoying Run Of The Mill, a new strip comes out Thursday at midnight. And I've completed the second draft on a very special project due to come out in December. Stay tuned for that.

Overwatch Cinematic - What Disney/Marvel Could Be

Blizzard's Overwatch makes me imagine what it'd be like to have Disney animation superiority mixed with serious marvel action and story telling - this is how good it could be! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqnKB22pOC0 - its past time marvel! Man this movie makes me want it so bad. Imagine inhumans, fantastic four or Generation X done this way. Hell a proper spiderman. EWG officialy wants to see this happen. Would be the best thing to come from the disney/marvel merger for sure. I see it starting in small strides with Big Hero 6 which just came out... but it needs to eventualy get to the level of something as awesome as this!
